Our grounds and castle are currently open on selected dates. Once you are here, you may stay on the grounds as long as you like until closing time at 4pm. You can book your tickets online ahead of arrival here or purchase on the gate.

Access

Some parts of the grounds present varying degrees of difficulty for those with mobility issues, but there are easy, accessible walks for all. Access to the Castle involves steep stairs and no lift.

Dogs

Dogs are very welcome, except on Event days. Dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and are not permitted in the Castle itself.

Tea Rooms

We are pleased that the tearooms are now open for indoor seating as well as takeaway service, with a menu of light refreshments. Please note, we only accept card payments in the tearooms.

Payment

We are a cashless venue and only take card as payment on both the gate and in the tearooms.
