Events & Experiences Manager
Full-time, 40 hours a week

We're looking for a creative and driven Events & Experiences Manager to lead the development and delivery of Hedingham Castle's growing programme of public events, private functions and unique visitor experiences. From medieval festivals and outdoor theatre to exclusive private events and brand-new concepts, you'll play a pivotal role in shaping the Castle's future. Marketing Manager
Part-time, 3 days a week

We're looking for a creative and forward-thinking Marketing Manager to lead the marketing at our unique and historic weddings and events venue, helping to inspire couples, visitors and event-goers to discover everything the Castle has to offer. From unforgettable weddings and immersive events to unique visitor experiences, you'll play a key role in shaping how our story is told. Historian Volunteers

Do you love history? Are you passionate about sharing your knowledge with others? Do you enjoy educating school children about their local history?

We are looking for Historian Volunteers to join our team! Our Historian Volunteers are essential for sharing our rich history with visitors and school groups. We are looking for enthusiastic and friendly individuals to be involved in education workshops for our school visits and history tours on general open days and on some event days.

What we’re looking for:

  • Individuals with a passion for history

  • Confident talking to groups, both adults and children

  • Able to climb stairs - due to the nature of the building, there are a lot of stairs inside the castle, as well as some mild hills involved when giving tours

Knowledge about Hedingham Castle’s history is not essential, as training will be provided.
