Andy’s guided tour of the Keep was informative and fun, engaging both the children and the adults, would definitely recommend (probably better on the Friday with the smaller number of guests).

The Wedding Eve
Welcome your guests to their home for the weekend, catch up on news and share the excitement of the days ahead. Enjoy strolls around the sprawling grounds, host cocktails on the lawn and feast on street food in the Castle. Finish the evening around the firepit before retiring for a peaceful night’s sleep before the big day.
The Big Day
It’s here, the day you’ve been planning and dreaming of for months, perhaps years. Enjoy a leisurely breakfast then split off for some fun, relaxing and easy activities before heading to get ready. Say your vows in the grand and historic Banqueting Hall of the Castle, before confetti on the Tudor bridge and reception drinks on the Mansion House lawn. Dine in style in our elegant Ballroom Marquee then dance the night away until a starlit canopy.
The Recovery
Recount the weekend’s events with friends old and new over a lazy brunch in the Castle’s Tapestry Room. Spill out onto the picnic benches and blankets and soak up the sun on the ancient bailey. Guests can drift in and out as they please or stay in bed and enjoy the peaceful calm of the surrounding Essex countryside. Say your goodbyes and head home, or on honeymoon, with incredibly happy new memories of your weekend wedding at Hedingham Castle.
