  Yes, we recommend registering in advance by booking tickets using the button above, entry is free. You can choose a time slot when booking tickets. This allows us to manage guest numbers and ensure the best experience for all visitors.

• Can we view the entire venue during on the day?

  Yes, visitors are welcome to explore all floors of the medieval castle as well as the Georgian House, Ballroom Marquee and accommodation, grounds. You will receive an estate map when you arrive to show you where to go.

• Will the weddings team be available to answer questions?

  Yes, our experienced and friendly weddings team will be on hand throughout the day to answer questions and discuss your plans.

• Can we check availability for our wedding date?

  Yes, our weddings team can check availability and discuss potential dates during your visit.

• Can we book the venue on the day?

  Yes, if you fall in love with Hedingham Castle, our team can provisionally hold a date for you and guide you through the next steps and booking process.

• How long should we allow for our visit?

  Most couples spend between 1 and 2 hours exploring the venue and meeting suppliers.

• Can we bring family or friends with us?

  Yes, you are welcome to bring guests whose opinion is important in your decision-making process. Please book them a free ticket so that we can manage visitor numbers - we can allow groups of up to 6.
