Friday is the perfect day to get married and here are 5 reasons why...

1. More available venue dates
   Because most couples wish to marry on a weekend, Saturday dates are usually the first to get booked up, with Fridays often getting overlooked and thus leaving lots of Friday dates available, even in peak season.

1. More supplier availability
   As per point 1, this means that you'll also have more choice when it comes to your florist, caterer, photographer, band etc.

2. Let the long weekend begin
   Who doesn't love a 3-day weekend? Most guests are more than happy to book a day off work and start their weekend early. You also could extend celebrations and make it into a wedding weekend - if your guests are travelling from far afield, this turns it into a lovely mini break for them.

3. More time to recover
   Guests can party all night without worrying about the dreaded Monday blues as they have an extra day to recover. What considerate friends you are!

4. Budget friendly
   Because Fridays are less popular, they are therefore more than often cheaper. Changing your date by just one day could save you a chunk of cash!
