General Admission: Castle & Gardens

Visit on selected dates to see the estate throughout the seasons. Listen to birdsong and enjoy a peaceful walk in the historic grounds. Children can take part in the free seasonal trail around the gardens and collect their sweet treat prize from the Castle Tearoom.

Please note: we are only open on selected dates during this period due to a very busy weddings and events schedule - click the button below for all available dates until the end of the season (October).

Entry includes admission to the Norman Keep, the best preserved of its kind in the country. The tearooms are located on the first floor of the Keep (stair access only) and will be open serving hot and cold drinks and cakes & other light snacks, inside seating and takeaway available.

Dogs on leads are very welcome in the grounds but not permitted inside the Keep.

  • Tickets also available on the gate on the day

  • Free onsite parking

  • Under 4s and carers go free

  • 1-adult family tickets include 1 adult and up to 4 children aged 4-17 (under 4s go free)

  • 2-adult family tickets include 2 adults and up to 3 children aged 4-17 (under 4s go free)
