Stand & Deliver! Tales of Dick Turpin

  • Hedingham Castle Bayley Street Halstead, England, CO9 3DJ United Kingdom (map)

For the very first time at Hedingham Castle, join us for a thrilling journey into the world of the legendary highwaymen and women of the 18th century!

Relive the fearless escapades of Dick Turpin and his infamous peers through daring stagecoach robberies, heart-stopping trick riding escapes, dancing horses, epic sword fights and pistol duels.

Encounter lovable rogues, mischievous villains and some truly 'undesirable' characters as we bring the legendary tales of the outlaws back to life. Beware – be ready to hand over your valuables or defend your honour against our notorious scoundrels!

This exciting new event will include 3 exhilarating stunt shows throughout the day to bring fast-paced action and interactive storytelling to the audience. There will also be birds of prey displays, a pistol range, traditional Maypole dancing, a scavenger hunt, storytelling, crafts & stalls, food trucks and more! A fun and immersive day out for the whole family.

Gates open at 10am with the first display at 11am. Activities finish at 4pm.
