What to expect from your visit

To help keep our visitors, staff, volunteers and local communities safe, we’ve made some changes so your visit will be a bit different to what you’re used to. We need your help to enable us to keep these places open safely, so we’d be grateful if you could follow the guidance below:

When you arrive

We encourage you to pay for purchases on card however we can now accept cash. Please book your tickets online ahead of arrival via the website. The Keep Café is now open for seating inside as well as takeaway.

Please drive up to the person who will greet you at the gate.  They will scan your ticket and direct you to the parking area, and give you a map so that you can easily find your way around the grounds.

We are pleased that the Castle is now re-open for visitors to explore. Please be patient if there is a queue, our staff are working hard to serve you. Please note, due to the steep steps inside the Castle, it is not accessible for wheelchairs and prams.

During your visit

We may have set up new routes, such as a one-way system. Please look out for any new signs around the property. Hand sanitiser is provided on entry for those who wish to use it.

Cancellations & Refunds

All tickets are non-refundable. Should Government action at any time cause us to close, we will of course, refund any tickets purchased for affected days. Otherwise, we operate a no-refunds policy. Tickets are not transferrable to alternative dates or alternative events. days. Please always check our website before travelling, in case circumstances or Government Advice has changed.

If you’re showing any of the symptoms of coronavirus, or if you've been in contact with anyone that has the virus in the last 14 days, please don’t visit.
