The Duke’s Theatre Company returns to Hedingham Castle with ‘As You Like It’!

Following their acclaimed tour last summer of ‘Twelfth Night’, Kevin Bennett, (Shakespeare’s Globe, Stratford Festival, Ontario) directs this brand-new production of Shakespeare’s most quoted comedy. This As You Like It will live on in your memory “forever and a day”.

When Rosalind is banished from Duke Ferdinand’s court, new identities are explored with hilarious consequences. Music, mayhem and madness thrill as we are shown that “All the world’s a stage”. 

Set in the magical grounds of Hedingham Castle, bring a picnic and enjoy a fabulous evening of theatre in this exceptional production. Gates open at 6pm for a 7pm start. The running time is 2 hours including a 15 minute interval.

Seating is not provided. Please bring fold up garden chairs, camping chairs or blankets. People on blankets will be advised to sit in the first 5 metres in front of the stage. The production is supported by a PA system, with each actor individually amplified.
