The most terrifying ghost walk in the area returns to chill the blood and curdle the imagination! The ghost trail is outside and winds it’s way round the lake and through the woods surrounding the ancient castle, followed by a spine tingling tale told by flickering candlelight. There may be bats.
The walks will take place in all weather conditions, so please wear appropriate clothing and footwear. All bookings must be made in advance, and we do not recommend the event for those aged under 12 or of a nervous disposition. We regret that because of the rough nature of the terrain and the steps leading up to and within the Castle, the event is not suitable for wheelchair users or those with mobility problems.
Following the success of its sell out 2013 tours and run at London’s St James Theatre, London Contemporary Theatre present their unique production of William Shakespeare’s greatest masterpiece Macbeth.
Join us for Shakespeare’s shortest, paciest tragedy Macbeth, performed in the round and in darkness. Staged in the intimate setting of Hedingham Castle’s Norman Banqueting Hall, there can be no finer setting for this most atmospheric of plays.
With seating in the Banqueting Hall and standing spaces in the Minstrels’ Gallery this 75 minute production promises to be a unique theatrical experience.
