Taking their cues from film noir, gangland Britain and the clowning tradition, (yes, really), the Pantaloons put their own contemporary spin on Shakespeare’s most dangerous play. Tragic and hilarious in equal measures, expect a truly innovative take on ‘The Scottish Play’. (We’re not allowed to say ‘Macbeth’, apparently. Health and Safety gone mad).
The production will take place under cover in the newly restored Tapestry Room of the Keep. Chairs will be provided, and the bar will be open for light snacks, tea, coffee and alcoholic drinks.
Hedingham Castle is the most romantic place for a wedding. The Banqueting Hall, shimmering with candlelight for an unforgettable ceremony, photographs on the Tudor Bridge and your reception in the hall of the Mansion House overlooking the formal gardens and the lake combine to create a truly magical setting. Our beautiful and newly equipped Marquee on the Tulip Lawn is perfect for the wedding breakfast. Or, for the first time in over 400 years, it will be possible, from February 2016, to have your whole day within the majestic setting of the Castle itself. Come and look round, talk to our wedding coordinators, soak up the atmosphere. Discuss menus and flowers, and just set your imagination free.
