We are delighted to announce that Lavenham Falconry will be with us every day we are open, with extra special displays on Event Days.

We always have a good choice of hot and cold food on Event Days, in addition to our fully stocked bar, but of course as always you are more than welcome to bring a picnic to enjoy in the grounds.

And though on normal days dogs are very welcome, we can’t allow them on event days because of the horses and other livestock.

  • Medieval Siege, Fair and Farmers Market – Monday April 1st and Sunday March 31st - 10.00 to 5.00
    Come and see the Dragons of Wye-Ten and take part in a Dragon’s Egg Hunt! There’s a battle, a Maypole, Archery you can have a go at, birds of prey, Teutonic Knights, Musicians, the Jester and loads of craft stalls and living history displays. It’s a great day out for everyone.

  • Music in the Castle – Sunday 14th April - Doors open 6.30

    Cars arrive from 11.15
    The Charity Classic Vehicle Club and the Chelmer Valley Car Meet converge on the Castle with over 150 cars.

There is a 10% reduction on all tickets booked in advance with the exception of King Lear, The Wind in the Willows and the Music in the Castle series.
