Vintage wedding Fayre: Thank you

June 30th, 2011 by admin

Hedingham Castle Staff would like to say a BIG thank you to everyone who attended our Vintage Wedding Fayre on Sunday 5th June 2011. The day was a huge success with over 600 people who attended!

Our stallholders really added to the feel of the day by dressing in vintage attire and decorating their stalls with vintage bunting and decorations! Despite looking a bit overcast (and it being a bit windy!) the rain held off enabling our visitors to enjoy the fabulous aerobatic display by the “Pitts Pair” and the live entertainment by A2 Jive, Annie Andrews and House of Sound!

Our Vintage Tea Rooms were a roaring success allowing guests to take a break and enjoy the relaxed atmosphere of the day. A special thank you goes to Camilla Simson, star of the “Crabbies Cider” advert who drew the raffle for our “Win a Wedding” competition. The £1200 we managed to raise from the raffle sales went to the Helen Rollason Cancer Charity.

From guests to stallholders, we received some amazing and positive feedback so watch this space for future Fayres!
