The Lodge, dating back to the Tudor period is located at the entrance to the Castle grounds. It is surrounded by its own private garden, providing comfortable, convenient and well-equipped accommodation for up to seventeen people. This is the perfect location to gather family, friends or colleagues prior to or on the night of your event. We would be very happy to organise everything from pampering treats to home made meals.
From the entrance porch, you will access the spacious drawing room which offers a television, video and DVD player. Ample seating around the inglenook fireplace is provided along with a generous dining table – making a perfect entertaining space. From here, the hall leads to the fully fitted kitchen breakfast room which has a large fridge freezer, dishwasher, oven, gas hob, microwave, washing machine, tumble dryer, iron and ironing board. There is a downstairs twin bedroom with en-suite facilities and a further twin and double bedrooms with an adjacent shower room. The staircases lead to an en-suite double bedroom, two twin bedrooms, family room (double and a single bed) further double bedroom and bathroom and shower room. All rooms have cotton bed linen and towels are provided.
There is a large terrace with garden furniture and a barbeque.
The Lodge has ample parking and is a 2 minute walk away from both the Castle and Village.
