Built in the 1850’s the Barn is located within a 3 minute walk of the Castle grounds situated at the back of one of the villages cottages. It is superb accommodation for 2 guests The double height living room has exposed beams, a circular ceiling and full height glass doors leading on to a south facing terrace, here you will find attractive garden furniture for your use
The kitchen/diner is spacious and fully fitted which includes a gas hob and oven, fridge, washer-dryer, dishwasher, microwave, kettle, toaster, table and 4 chairs
There is a newly fitted ground floor shower room
Upstairs is the large mezzanine bedroom with exposed beams and a large window. A beautiful fitted cupboard and dressing table are provided for your use
Top quality towels and bed linen provided
Television (FREESAT) and DVD
The Barn has central heating and has been awarded 4 stars by the ETC

Radisson Blu
We have also built up a good working relationship with the largest nearby hotel – The Radisson Blu based at Stansted Airport.
This hotel is located approximately 45 minutes away and would be the perfect solution for larger parties as it has 500 rooms. Guests staying here can have a late night drink in the Angels Wine Tower Bar – this takes pride of place in the Atrium, standing at over 13m tall it has over 4000 bottles of wine on offer
